Assassin's Creed Unveils Bizarre AoT Crossover for Holiday Season
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine cult.
The adventure focuses on "bizarre tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Extra Content
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana in addition to numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

- Survey Corps vehicle
Third Free Story Update
This patch also adds the game's third complimentary story content, titled "The Mystery."
